Pupils and teachers reactions
Due to the project integration, ICT has become an inevitable part of Czech language lessons, Mathematics and Natural Science.
Undisputed and appreciated advantages found after a short time of use:
- Attractiveness of the teaching process
- Teaching enhanced by new possibilities and methods of work
- Pupils are more attentive and concentrate better
- Pupil with physical disabilities do not have to leave their desk and still are able to join in the learning process with other pupils
(Eva Novotná, teacher, Elementary School of J.A.Komenského Kly,)
Also other classes should have MULTIMICE – it is kind of diversification of teaching and it is easier for pupils to concentrate.
(Alena Lančová, Elementary School J.A.Komenského Kly, 2nd grade)
MULTIMICE helps me with teaching – everything is faster so we learn more things.
(Lucie Obrajtová, Elementary School J.A.Komenského Kly, 2nd grade)
System MULTIMICE is interesting and everyone enjoys it. Physically disabled children do not have to go to the whiteboard anymore, they can work from their seats.
(Elementary School J.A.Komenského Kly, 2nd grade)
MULTIMICE helps me, when we learn something new – I can demonstrate it very well.
(Zuzana Beranová, Elementary School J.A.Komenského Kly, 2nd grade)
I think that MULTIMICE helps physically handicapped pupils because of the mouses. They do not have to go to blackboard and they can write from their desk. MULTIMICE makes the lessons easier.
(Stanislava Zezůlková, Elementary School J.A.Komenského Kly, 2nd grade)
After participating in this project I got used to working every day with an interactive board and System MULTIMICE. Pupils grasp everything faster with the help of pictures, especially one girl, who has a hearing handicap. The greatest advantage is the mouse, which allows a fast reaction from the desk, which saves time and lowers the noise in the classroom. Children learn accuracy and patience while using the mouse. I want to add one more advantage. It assists in the integration of physically handicapped pupils in teaching. System MULTIMICE enables them to integrate directly, to work with other children, it enables them to use the interactive board and they can practice with their hands. They enjoy this kind of teaching very much. System MULTIMICE reduces the handicap. I assess this project on the whole as a perfect project and I hope every teacher works with MULTIMICE in the future.
(Jitka Sachlová, 3rd Elementary School in Slaný, Teacher)
Except for the class with physically handicapped children we tried to use the System MULTIMICE in classes in the 2nd grade – without an interactive board – we projected that on a wall or on a projection screen. I can certify that the whole MULTIMICE system works well. Pupils loved working with it and the system makes for higher quality teaching. With regard to the diverse modules, the system can be used for practicing fast actions (in the competition module) or in making a fast survey in a class (with the voting module). Also the tests module enables testing of current subject matters. I like this system as a whole because of its flexibility and its functionality. This is better than the voting equipment offered by other companies. In relation to the mobile interactive board ONfinity and data projector, this system can be the basis of a modern form of teaching in any class.
(Josef Drudík, 3rd Elementary School Slaný Teacher)
I like this system and the way it works and I would be glad to work with MULTIMICE in all classes in all subjects.
(Libuše Cézová Elementary School Lipová-lázně student, 13 years old)
I find this application excellent and it will surely contribute to the improvement of teaching and its attractiveness.
(Marie Bendíková, ES Lipová-lázně, student, 15 years old)
It is very suitable for practicing the subject matter, repeating is faster, everybody can watch the process of other pupils and learn from their mistakes.
(Anna Tichavská, Elementary School Lipová-lázně, Teacher)
Mouses are something different. They bring new motivation into the teaching. It means that pupils pay attention, concentrate on participating in the learning. In addition to these facts a teacher can more easily control the workflow and the pupils.
(Anna Kainová Elementary School Lipová-lázně Teacher)
